WHO Clinical Staging Session from HIV and AIDS for Medical Officers in India
This session educates participants about the modes of HIV transmission, progression of HIV infection, and the World Health Organization’s clinical staging of HIV. This session is part of India’s National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) training for medical officers on HIV and AIDS. The session lasts roughly 45 minutes and includes case studies, a question and answer session, and a lecture. The case studies use photographs and text to show patients at various clinical stages of HIV and AIDS. A Facilitator Guide, Participant Handbook, and PowerPoint slide set are included.
