and Namibia. The papers describe different strategies for developing and implementing clinical mentoring programs,
as well as their successes and challenges.
Setting Up Mentoring Programs
Setting up a clinical mentoring program involves a variety of programmatic and administrative tasks, such as recruiting
and orienting mentors, identifying and preparing mentoring sites, and making logistical arrangements. This section
includes tools and resources for managers and program planners to use to help establish a mentoring program.
Managing Mentoring Programs
This section includes tools and resources for monitoring and evaluating mentoring programs. This section of the
toolkit will be expanded in future editions.
