- Developing Clinical Case Studies: A Guide for Teaching
This document presents a six-step process for developing clinical case studies. The document was prepared for the AETC National Resource Center by the International AIDS Society—USA. - Physical Exam Case Study
This case study can be used with mentees to illustrate the purpose and value of conducting a physical exam. The case is structured to include pauses in the narrative to allow mentees to practice clinical decision making along the way. - Cotrimoxazole Prophylaxis Case Study
This case study can be used as a teaching tool with mentees to reinforce protocols around cotrimoxazole prophylaxis. This case is designed to be consistent with published WHO guidelines, and should be adapted to be consistent with the national care and treatment guidelines in the location where the mentoring is occurring. - Clinical Case-Based Question Bank
This document contains 82 multiple choice and true/false case-based questions that can be used to assess the clinical skills of any health care provider. The questions were developed by the I-TECH South Africa clinical mentoring program and are tailored to the South African context and national care and treatment guidelines. The questions should be adapted for use in other countries.
