spread of HIV is making it necessary for companies to develop policies
that address the physical and mental health of their employees.
Employees may have increased absenteeism due to their own declining
health, or because they must take care of a loved one. Employees
living with HIV may experience stigma and discrimination in the
workplace, making their work experience more stressful and difficult.
